From February 2 to 5, 2010, Basler attended the Russian "International Security and Safety Technologies Forum" for the first time. The forum took place at the Crocus Expo in Moscow. With more than 330 exhibitors and 25,000 visitors from all over Russia, the forum was a resounding success.

Each year, products for homeland security, business, and personal security are on display at the "International Security and Safety Technologies Forum". Russia is one of the main markets for surveillance cameras. These cameras are becoming more and more important for use in new infrastructure (train stations, airports, etc.) and new public buildings.

A demo of the Basler IP camera was presented at the booth of our partner Advance Network Video. Other Basler IP cameras were on display at the booths of our VMS partners Axxon and Goal. The forum was a great success for Basler with an overwhelming response to the Basler IP camera's wide range of features and its broad application possibilities.

Another positive outcome of the forum was the announcement of Basler's cooperation with our Moscow-based distribution partner Standard Bezopasnosty.
