Most consumers at this point will recognize the term 'USB,' referring to the 'Universal Serial Bus' that serves as an interface between a computer and a peripheral device. USB has come to play an increasingly important role in Vision Technology as well, thanks in large part to the USB 3.0 interface. USB 3.0 is the newest of the major camera interfaces, and has made a huge breakthrough on the market in recent years.

Our latest Vision Campus article, "USB 3.0 – The Camera Interface of the Future (?)", details the benefits of USB 3.0 compared with other interfaces, and shows why this interface is especially well-equipped to adapt to future needs.

The Vision Campus also provides many other fascinating articles about industrial image processing and Vision Technology in general. There are entries detailing how to find the right camera or set up a vision system, among others – as either text or video. Have a look for yourself!
