A400k cameras include an area of interest (AOI) feature that lets you specify a portion of the camera's CMOS array and during operation, only the pixel information from the specified portion is transferred out of the camera. A400k cameras also include an AOI sequencer feature that lets you automatically run a predefined sequence of two or more AOIs.

To use the AOI sequencer, you must create an AOI list and upload the list to your camera. The AOI List Editor Tool is a small program you can install on your PC. The tool lets you quickly create an AOI list and upload it to your camera.

Note: The AOI List Editor Tool is designed for use with A400k cameras only. It WILL NOT work correctly with any other Basler camera models.
