The photovoltaic thin-film industry is turning towards automated mass production. In the course of this development the demand has also increased for image-processing systems for inline product analysis and process monitoring at various stages of the process.

Basler Vision Technologies are highly successful in the TFT and LCD glass industry, for which they provide highly developed systems for inspecting both coated and uncoated glass, as well as for structured surfaces such as, for example, black matrix and color filters.

Based on their experience and technology in the glass industry, Basler now also offer inspection systems for the photovoltaic thin-film industry. You can configure scaleable inspection systems from Basler up to a resolution of 10µm per pixel. Developed in house, Basler's hardware provides the ultimate in inspection level coupled with the shortest of processing times. The systems consist entirely of proven components and parts that have been used successfully in long-term application in the glass industry.
