The Solar Inspection group of products provides solutions with fully automatic integration into the production process for tasks vital to analyzing the quality of wafers, solar cells and thin-film modules. Based on in-house component technology in the company's leading fields of cameras, computers and software, Basler inspection systems can reject defective raw wafers and solar cells and prevent them from undergoing any further finishing process. At the same time, the inspection systems supply valuable data that enable you to continuously optimize your production plant control system. In this way, our technical solutions support you in your efforts to reduce silicon consumption by using thinner raw wafers and to improve the overall yield from your highly capital-intensive production plant.

Basler can boast the experience gained from 5000 surface analysis systems installed worldwide for a variety of industries – including the manufacture of flat screens, which involves tests very similar to those in thin-film technology.
