With high speed Vision Technology - the technology of artificial vision - conquers new industry, medical or scientific applications. Vision Technology is based on the automatic analysis of visual information. Optical sensors acquire image information and send it to hardware and software systems. These systems analyze the image information and react accordingly - with extreme speed and precision - in a fashion that is much safer and more economical than the human eye.

At Basler, our products concentrate on industrial applications of Vision Technology. Quality inspection and production process optimization are our focus. Our vision systems and components identify, control and watch. They increase the product quality and the yield of production processes. At Basler, we bundle all of the required key competences in-house: optics, lightning, sensors, software and processing know-how. By doing this, we are able to develop products with clearly defined economic benefits for our customers.
