Basler's old camera models transmit image data in an RS-644 LVDS format. Our newer camera lines transmit data in Camera Link™ LVDS format. Some users want to take advantage of the advanced features offered on our newer cameras, but need the data output in the older RS-644 LVDS format. Basler can supply an nterface converter to change the newer output format to RS-644 LVDS. The product is called "k-BIC.

The layout of the outputs on the Basler Interface Converters matches the layout of the outputs on Basler's RS-644 LVDS cameras. This means that camera users who are familiar with interfacing our RS-644 cameras with a frame grabber will have no trouble when they use a Camera Link camera along with an interface converter.
