The Basler Binary Protocol Library (BBPL) is an extension of the clALLSerial/clSerial API defined in the Camera Link standard. The BBPL adds convenient functions to this API that allow you to easily read from and write to the registers in Basler Camera Link cameras.
The BBPL was developed in conjunction with the Basler aviator camera family, but it can also be used with our earlier A400k, L400k, L800k, and sprint camera families. In effect, the BBPL implements the Basler Binary Protocol II used with these earlier models, but hides the complexities of the protocol from the user.
Running the downloaded executable will start a normal Windows installation routine. To complete the installation, simply follow the directions that appear in each window.
