I came to Basler in July 2003 as a manufacturer via a temping agency. I was given a fixed contract with Basler just six months later. I assumed the position of team leader for the Sealing company area in June 2005. I was promoted to foreman on 1st August 2009. I completed my technical training at the same time. I have been head of the production department for the Surface Inspection area since 1st June 2011.
Given my own career progression at Basler, I find the development opportunities which the company offers fascinating. I always find it fun to take on new challenges. The ambiance between colleagues, particularly the helpfulness of my colleagues, should be highlighted. Finally, I would like to say that one is not only challenged at Basler but also supported!

I started as a product manager in the Sealing / Web Inspection department in May 2004 and moved to the Display Inspection department two years later. I have been employed as a product manager in the Components department since 2011. Due to the change of the systems to cameras, this was a new challenge for me which I gladly accepted.
At Basler, we are involved in interesting, innovative and modern markets.
I like working here because Basler offers an open and friendly corporate culture. There is also the company's family friendly policy. There are various working hour models which can be applied. I have the opportunity, for example, to work from home. This means that I can conciliate work and family even when my children are ill.

I have been employed at Basler since 15th October 2010. I was firstly employed on a 50% basis as a logistician and on a 50% basis as a specialist for supply chain management. Since July 2011, I have been working as a specialist for supply change management on a 100% basis.
I can still remember my first impressions well. Even my job interview was very relaxed and interesting. I was very warmly received. But the Basler company building also appealed to me very much. I immediately felt at home there. I also thought it was a positive thing that I was involved in various projects right from the start. My colleagues always have a sympathetic ear and are very helpful.

I started as a technical writer on 1st April 2005 in the Documentation & Training department. I moved to the Market Communications department 2 years ago as a market communications specialist for the networking cameras sector.
My first impression of Basler was very positive. At the time, Basler already had a policy of open communication between superiors and staff. This transparency in the company also still exists today. I also very much like the direct communication channels and the opportunities for advancement at Basler.

I completed my training as an industrial clerk between August 2004 and June 2007 at Basler. After successfully passing my final examination in June 2007, I was then hired as a human resources assistant. However, right from the start I had always wanted to work for the financial accounting department as a team assistant as soon as there was a position for me. This transfer then took place as early as October 2007. Alongside my job, I have also studied to be a state certified accountant. Since April 2011, I have been studying balance sheet accounting.
I find it great that Basler is supporting me in these further training measures. Furthermore, I very much enjoy this work. The particularly friendly manner between colleagues and superiors should be highlighted in particular here. I also enjoyed very much the training at Basler. I found it particularly good that as trainees we were supported by internal instruction and training sessions.

I started training to become a mechatronics engineer at Basler as of 1st August 2000 and successfully completed it. After successfully passing my final examination, I was hired as a manufacturer. Alongside my job, I have also gained a qualification as a technician by attending evening school. Since July 2010, I have been employed as process and commissioning engineer for the Surface Inspection area.
I can still remember my first impression well: for me, Basler was then a young, up-and-coming company whose employees were dedicated and motivated. And this also applies today!
I very much enjoy working at Basler. I find it good that every single employee can contribute his ideas and suggestions for improvement. I also find the ambiance between colleagues and the joint activities great.

I started working at Basler in June 1999 as a project manager in the area of electrical engineering (that was hard work!) In September 2000, I became head of department in hardware development. Over time, I have added further areas of responsibility. For example, I am the process owner for the process modification process and I have coordinated support projects over the last year.
I very much enjoy working at Basler for many different reasons. I like to lead and direct my team. It gives me great pleasure when I can support my employees and get the best out of them. In my department, every employee has a large freedom for manoeuvre. I gladly allow freedom so that every individual can implement individual suggestions and ideas. I enjoy being successful with my team. I would simply like to address my team here and say that I am proud of you.

I started at Basler on 1st July 2007 as a mechanic-constructor. As early as November 2008, I assumed a position as development engineer mechanic. In 2009, I also assumed resource manager duties. Furthermore, I am a specialist adviser for bachelor and master students, trainees and interns.
At Basler, I particularly like the friendly and open communication between colleagues. In the event of problems one is not left alone at Basler. There are always helpful contact partners. Furthermore, I believe it is good that I have the opportunity to assume a lot of responsibility in the most various fields of activity. This is very important to me in my work. I think it should be highlighted that crises are solved together and successes are shared at Basler.

I was hired as head of financial accounting at Basler on 1st October 2002. I took over the project for renovating the IT architecture at the time in 2005. On the basis of the successful implementation of the project, I was also entrusted with the management of IT in addition to the management of financial accounting in January 2006. We won a tender against external competition with the IT department in 2008 and SAP was successfully reintegrated into our own operation as of 01.04.2009. Since then, I am also responsible for the SAP basic operation.
I still remember my first impression of Basler well. I was received in an open, happy and expectant way, particularly by the financial accounting team.
I enjoy working at Basler because there is a relaxed atmosphere within the company. Everyone knows each other. I find it very positive that in the case of our medium-sized company, an eye is still kept on the bigger picture despite the variety of projects. As a manager, it is also particularly important for me to conciliate job and family. This is possible at Basler through the flexible working hour regulations.
