Thanks to more than 20 years of experience in vision technology, Basler has fundamental expertise in the core technology fields of optics, sensors, lighting, software, and computer technology. Our surface inspection customers profit from that experience.
Even when the basic system requirements in the surface inspection field essentially coincide, the various applications still have completely distinct requirements. So, for example, any application is characterized by its own special types of defects. With the help of our experience and our knowledge, we are in a position to identify and manage different requirements. That’s why we see ourselves as advisors to our customers, and we find the best possible solutions in collaboration with them.
All Basler inspection system components are designed by us in house so that we can create an optimal, trouble-free fit for our clients’ needs every time. That applies to optical components like cameras and lighting as well as to hardware components. The latter are designed specially adapted to surface inspection requirements by taking up little space while offering high performance, particularly for the high demands of inspection speed and precision. We use highly modular components that can easily be adjusted to specific requirements in our software as well.
